I skipped the November update, because I played nothing outside of Skyrim in November, and that only a little, and there was nothing to say. But here is my update for December. First of all, there are two games that had been on my plate for a long, long, long time, and I mean a really long time. It feels good to report that these are now done:
- In November I beat the main storyline of Skyrim. I only did some of the massive amount of side content. Honestly I was getting tired of it. I’ll probably say something more about this game in the future.
- In December my son Zag and I finally, finally finished Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. This game was set aside and forgotten for so many months that I didn’t think we would ever get back to it.
So what new games did I begin in December? Only two:
- My son Zag researched and bought a videogame as a Christmas present for his mother. You got that? A teenage boy gave his mom a videogame for Christmas… and she is happy! The game is Lost Judgment, a new game and a spin-off of the Yakuza series. I was skeptical of liking it at first, but then I started playing and I’ve been playing it all week. A detective story, and so addicting!
- Zag and I are continuing the Kingdom Hearts series. Recently started Dream Drop Distance. It’s more of the same weirdness. I think it’s going to take a long time to get through these games.
And that’s it, that’s the soup.
